Afronauts at the Edinburgh Fringe FEstival

A Dream Years in the Making✨🚀
After years of hard work, training, and dreaming, our show Afronauts is heading to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival — the largest arts festival in the world.
This is more than a performance.
It is an opportunity to take Zambian stories, Zambian talent, and Zambian creativity onto the global stage. Inspired by the story of Edward Mukuka Nkoloso and Zambia’s bold 1960s space programme, Afronauts celebrates imagination, resilience, and the courage to dream beyond limitations.
For over 6 years, Circus Zambia has worked on this show. Now, a team of Zambian artists will take this story to international audiences sharing this uniquely Zambian story with international audiences.
Afronauts is created in collaboration with Wake The Beast and Barefeet Theatre
From Chibolya to the world — the journey continues. 🌍
